Wedding Party Alterations

The perfect fitting dress, isn't reserved for the bride. As her bridesmaids or as the mother of the bride or groom, it is essential that you properly represent the bride on her special day. You are among the people the bride trusts most. Show her that you are there to support her new journey with wedding attire that not only looks the part but also fits exceptionally well.

* The bridesmaid and mother of the bride/groom alterations generally take 6- 8 weeks. Since appointments fill quickly, the appointment needs to be scheduled about a month before you want your first fitting. When scheduling your alteration appointment, make sure you consider when you need the dress for pickup. For example, if you are leaving town with the dress or shipping the dress you will need it earlier than the actual wedding date.

* If your first bridesmaid or mother of the bride/groom appointment is less than 4 weeks before you want to pick up your dress, there will be a standard rush fee of $30.

* If after meeting with a seamstress, you decide to forgo alterations with the seamstress, there will be a $25 pinning fee.

*On average bridesmaid alterations typically run between $30 and $90 while mother of the bride/groom alterations typically run between $30 and $100. However, they can be more or less depending on the amount of work required.

*If you are unable to come for a final fitting, or do not show up for your final fitting, d'Anelli Bridals is not responsible for the fit of the dress.

*Alteration fees are due and payable in full at the first fitting

*Please bring shoes and undergarments.
