"JESSICA'S INFLUENCES"

This month my inspiration is Bold but Beautiful!  I have always lived by this in fashion and life.  The navy blue and lime green offer a vibrant contrast that definitely make a statement!  The bride is wearing a brand new Kelly Chase Couture gown.  The style is modern with a bold neckline and skirt but the lace bodice brings in the tradition that every bride wants.  The bridesmaids are in Jim Hjelm 5958 in the ink tissue taffeta.  Fashion forward necklines are something that I really wanted to incorporate this month!  The bride and bridesmaids will all tie together with the lime green peep toe pumps.  The flowers will be done by Swank Stems (pictured) in Denver, they are so talented and breathtaking.   Menswear is always a classic suit or tuxedo but again to bring in the vibrant colors and statement, I have put all the men in the lime green and navy striped tie.  For a fun picture option the striped lime green and blue socks were a must!!! I love it!  The guests will each get a personal cupcake shaped like a real wedding cake!  It is the best of both worlds!  Bows will most definitely be incorporated all throughout the wedding, what is more feminine then a huge bow...A HUGE cushion cut diamond ring!!  That will make any bride's day!!  Enjoy!

THE INSPIRATION FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST IS PEACOCK THEMED!  JAMIE PICKED THE PEACOCK FEATHERS WITH BLUE AND PURPLE ORCHARDS FOR THE EDGY FEEL AND MODERN LOOK! 
THE WEDDING GOWN SHE CHOSE WAS ANAIS STYLE 110 BY ST. PUCCHI.  THIS GOWN HAS A FUN FLIRTY LOOK TO IT WITH A CORSET TOP AND VERY FULL TULLE SKIRT.  THE BRIDE IS WEARING TEAL HEELS THAT ADDS A TOUCH OF COLOR AND TIES HER INTO THE THEME.
THE BRIDESMAIDS DRESS IS WATTERS AND WATTERS STYLE 6464.  THIS DUPIONI SILK GOWN HAS A RUSTIC LOOK IN A RICH BOUGAINVILLEA COLOR THAT BRIGHTENS UP THE ENTIRE WEDDING PARTY.
JAMIE LOVES HER ACCESSORIES SO SHE ADDED FUN HAIR AND PEACOCK CLUTCHES FOR THE GIRLS TO SHOW OFF THEIR FUN FLIRTY SIDE.  ALONG SIDE IS THE EXCITING PEACOCK FEATHER INVITATION AND ELEGANT WEDDING CAKE....WITH JUST A TOUCH OF THE THEME WITH ONE FEATHER.

Elizabeth Events.  The event is at "Artwork Network" in the Santa Fe Art District 878 Santa Fe Drive Denver, Co!  At the event you will be able to meet local wedding vendors, see bridal fashions (by d'Anelli Bridals), enjoy drinks, food, music, and enter to win some amazing prizes!

 "SARAH'S INFLUENCES"

The inspiration for the influence board this month is 100% tropical!  I was inspired by the distressed look of the chest below with the ALOHA sign.  This is where I found my color combo!!!  The wedding gown is Ian Stuart and the bridesmaid gown is Jim Hjelm!  I decided to use as much of the scenery as I could.  From the fruit to the palm leaves....and of course the flowers!

Advice:  Be yourself and find things that make you smile!  Remember.....spend a little extra on the things that you are going to remember......for me it's the gown, the flowers, and the bamboo chairs!  Be unique.....you and your guests will remember the special and different things that you do!

NEW DESIGNERS!!!

We have added a few lines to our store!  We now carry Nicole Miller & Anais!!! 
-Nicole Miller wedding gowns are going to be more ready to wear.  These gowns are going to be very light in weight and have a very slim fit.
-Anais is a new designer's line that is under the St. Pucchi designer!  We have received our 1st gown in and are super excited to see the rest of the gowns!!!!  The gowns have a very high end look!

 "TESSA'S INFLUENCES"

Influences for June has a very sophisticated look!  You will see how Tessa has mixed rich colors and soft lines in order to create a very romantic yet fashionable look. 

The wedding gown pictured is Calypso by Ian Stuart.  This taupe colored gown is truly breath taking in silk dupion with a dramatic tulle skirt and fashion forward halter. 

Tessa did an amazing job matching the Ian Stuart wedding gown with the Jim Hjelm bridesmaid dress style #500!  The eggplant color complements the taupe wedding gown perfectly!  This bridesmaid gown shown; has a pleated yet soft halter neckline which compliments the wedding gown as well.

The invitation and cake have an exquisite look with the classic print on the cake adds a simple touch of elegance of black and white.

The flowers have the deep yet rich colors that tie everything together!

TRUNK SHOW THIS WEEKEND!!!!

PHOTO SHOOT!  Be watching for the photos!!!!!

We wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone involved in the photo shoot on Sunday!!!!  All of the models were stunning and the venues fit the gowns perfectly!  We fell in love with the bouquets from Swank Stems!  Tiffany-amazing makeup!  The models looked gorgeous and we truly appreciated you staying around all day and touching the models up!  The hair from Cuttin ' it Loose fit all of the looks that we were going for perfectly!!!  The hair and makeup artists truly amaze us with the talent and patience with details!

"CAROL'S INFLUENCES"

Our Influences for May has a very bold theme going.....now..we're talking bold in style and not color.  Everything for May is pure elegance!  The Ian Stuart wedding gown is the main focus for this wedding.  The fashion forward Ian Stuart Muse gown in the silk taffeta with a jacket that speaks for it's self.  When doing such a fashion forward gown, you want to make sure to keep everything else simple and classic.  That is why we chose the Jim Hjelm bridesmaid gown JH5935 and the Angela Nuran shoes to match!  The invitations and the place settings have a beautiful pattern that keeps a classic design; that is done in a modern print.  The dark colored flowers against the Ian Stuart gown gives such an amazing contrast that we wanted to do a similar look for the groom!  This is why we choose to do the black tux with the white flower. 

The entire theme of this influence board is "PURE ELEGANCE"!

Advice:  During your wedding planning be sure to find the perfect gown first....but we don't want to leave the groom out!  Make sure to complement the groom in a few ways as well....it can be as simple as giving him a flower that pops!  Make sure that if your going super modern or fashion forward with your gown that you are able to still tie in who you are with your wedding!

New York Bridal Market Review!

It has been a busy few weeks for us here at d'Anelli's!  This month we have done some major shopping!!! The National Bridal Markets in Chicago and New York were fabulous!  A few key things we came back with::  Ball Gowns are back ladies!!!  Natural waists with chic textured belts were all over market! A ball gown could not be complete without pockets...So look for those on our racks shortly!  Watters and WToo bridal and bridesmaids gowns blew us away!  The Jim Hjelm and Blush by Jim Hjelm wedding gowns were stunning with pops of color in the sash accents or flower details.  We looooved them all and can not wait for our stock to come in!  We looked at many new lines to bring in the store and will be updating you shortly!  As for accessories...Maria Elena was exquisite!  The pictures we post remember can also be doubled as a belt for a special night out with a little black dress!!  All in all the Fall 2010 lines were stunning and we are more than excited to update you when the sample gowns start arriving!

We were also able to tour Kleinfeld's while we were in New York! This is us with Consultant, Keisha Rigsby from the TLC show, "Say Yes To The Dress"! They were filming an episode while we were there so we were able to meet the film crew and see how the shop operates!

"BRI'S INFLUENCES"

So we want to help our brides think of different way to make every part of their wedding their own.  We truly feel that your wedding should reflect who you and your husband are.  There are so many different things that you can get inspired by to make your wedding stand out from your family and friend's weddings.  I think that so many times brides believe that there is a "cookie cutter" way to plan your wedding day.  We want to show you some different things that you can add to your special day to insure your wedding is classy, elegant, modern and still reflects who you and your husband are!

For the month of April Bri has put together an amazing color combo and has brought a lot of her personality out in everything from the colors, gown, and flowers she chosen!  Bri loves the contrast between the neutral aspect of the color grey and the boldness of marigold.  She is truly inspired by anything vintage in her everyday life.  She chose a vintage; yet modern wedding gown (Blush by Jim Hjelm style 1000) and bridesmaid gowns (Alvina Valenta style 9920) to complement her style!  Although she chose a few bold items like her bright colored shoes and handbag; she managed to keep her classic style and was able to give her overall wedding a unique look. 

Advice:  Find things that you love (artwork, shoes, colors) and go with it!  Find items and things that truly inspire you and make your wedding day unforgettable!

One of our favorite brides; Summer sent us in pictures from her beautiful wedding in Arizona.  She was married this past summer in Scottsdale.  The wedding was absolutely amazing-it was even featured on WETV's "Platinum Weddings".  Summer wore an Allure Couture gown for the ceremony, a Watters and Watters gown for the reception and a custom beaded gown for the after party.  She was decked out in a smashing red evening gown for the rehearsal dinner the night before!  We loved helping Summer through the whole process and getting to see the finished product is always the best!

Whew! It has been a busy few weeks.  We had a great trunk show with Essense of Australia dresses last weekend!  There were many brides who found their dream dress from this fantastic collection.  We really enjoyed having the sales representative as well as the designer herself out here for a few days.  We also had a trunk show for Veil Trends on Saturday.  We love Jolene- she is amazing to work with and she is designing some very special custom veils for our brides.  We also have just started out Twitter and Facebook fan pages so make sure to check us out on them as well.  We will update Twitter and Facebook with special offers and updates so check back frequently!  Well we must get busy unpacking the new trunk show dresses that just arrived for our preview show this weekend.  Stop by to check out the Kirstie Kelly for Disney collection.

This morning we hosted a fashion show for the West Chamber of Commerce!  We had a great turnout and did some networking with some local businesses.  We are looking to build partnerships with different members of the Chamber to provide our brides with some great contacts!  Shear Productions was kind enough to donate the hair and make up for our models (who happened to be some of our sales consultants!) and Snowdrops and Sage did beautiful arrangements and bouquets for the models.  The Village Roaster donated coffee to accompany the delicious breakfast.  We had a blast this morning and thank all the local area businesses for turning out for the fashion show!
